The average pro-life pregnancy center conducts 229 pregnancy tests and saves 60 babies per year. The center that later developed the SperaVita Method saw 39 women choose life in 2006. While each life is priceless, the center knew they could and needed to do better. The discontent drove them to collectively fast and pray for 40 days during the spring of 2006. In 2007 they discovered a new, linear patient process that is now named the SperaVita Method (formerly FOCUS). 

The new process transformed every aspect of operations, and the results were miraculous. The center began to see the right women (those at risk for abortion), at the right time (when they were pregnant), with the right message (truth leading to life). Within one year of implementing, the number of women choosing life jumped from a 5-year average of 68 to just under 300. Last year, 1,810 pregnancy test patients were served, 69% of whom were at high risk for abortion, and 77% who were pregnant chose life.

The SperaVita Method works! We are unaware of any other patient process that has the measurable success in terms of drawing abortion-minded/determined women into the center and empowering them to make a choice for life.

SperaVita training features three tracks: 

• The Executive Training covers Strategic Planning, Organizational Health, Board Relationships, Fundraising, Marketing, Performance Metrics, Implementation and Continuous Improvement.
• The Patient Resources Training is for the staff member who oversees your schedulers, receptionists, and staff/volunteer advocates. The training includes the scripts, intake forms, advocate excellence and follow up for the 15 step linear patient process.
• The Medical Services Training is for the core staff member or leader of you medical department. The training includes the scripts, forms, and the patient process related to the medical services provided to the patient (pregnancy tests, limited STD testing and limited Ultrasound).

All elements of SperaVita’s 15 step patient process are designed to work together as a whole to effectively reach and serve abortion-minded, abortion-determined and at-risk women. Each step of the process is intentionally designed to flow seamlessly with the other steps…from marketing and scheduling line scripts, to the advocate and medical staff scripts, to the repeat visit and follow up contact. The process is also compatible with telehealth and mobile units.

Following a three-day on-site training, The SperaVita Institute also provides at least one year of coaching as well as ongoing connection with our network of cutting-edge, like-minded centers and clinics across the country. Trained centers also have the opportunity to earn Center of Distinction status after implementation. Our goal is to train 250 pregnancy centers and see over one million lives saved by 2030.
