Jennifer Roush

Executive Director

Jennifer Roush has worked in the pro-life world since 2012. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center and has a background as a registered nurse. Jennifer has served in the past as a nurse sonographer and as the Director of Medical Services for Informed Choice of Iowa. With her past front-line experience, Jennifer is passionate about serving women most at risk for abortion and helping them make a life choice. Her disarming belief that there is “no pit so deep, that God is not deeper still” empowers people to see beyond their present circumstances and create strategy for the future. She has spoken at many different events and ministries including Focus on the Family and Breaking the Veil of Silence. Jennifer currently serves as the Executive Director of the SperaVita Institute. Jennifer and her husband, Troy, have four beautiful daughters.


Carla Idrees

Research and Education Coordinator

Carla is an RN, BSN of twenty years of experience. Carla’s experience in instruction with training and development started back in her days of working overseas in Southern Asia for six years. Along with her missions work and teaching, she has worked in critical care, labor and delivery, and community health. As well as working for SperaVita, she works in the emergency department as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. Her nearly 10 years of work in a local pregnancy center combined with her deepest desire to instruct and develop others in the same pro-life movement, are what make her uniquely purposeful in her role with SperaVita. Carla’s heart is to see those in crisis brought to a place of empowerment through understanding and education in the truth of their circumstances.


Lindsay Blake

Development Coordinator

Lindsay is passionate about Life and creativity. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art photography and a Minor in Communications Journalism. Lindsay worked for the Omaha World Herald, Council Bluffs Daily Nonpareil, and an International Non-Profit before becoming the development coordinator and creative director at SperaVita Institute. She co-wrote two published books, Remember Us and Act Here. Love Now. Lindsay loves to use her photography and writing skills to positively impact the pro-Life movement and the world around her. She’s jumped out of a plane in the Middle of America, nearly died from a tapeworm in Pakistan, lived in a mud hut in South Sudan, gave birth to her son in South Africa, and dreams of traveling to all the U.S. National Parks in an RV. She’s shaved her head twice “just because.” Lindsay lives the Good Life in Omaha with her son, Carsen.
